Baby’s First Winter

If you’re a new mum, you may be experiencing your little ones first winter – it’s tricky, we know! We’ve compiled our best tips to give your baby the easiest cold-season…

Sensitive skin

It might be wise to watch baby’s delicate skin during the harsh winter weather. Babies are prone to eczema and dry skin during the winter months and this can be especially true if they are bathed frequently. Moisturising their sensitive skin with baby lotions and creams could be essential to provide more softness and relief.

Germs and illness

Regular hand washing is the simplest and most effective way to get rid of germs. Make sure to wash your hands after you change baby’s nappy and wipe their nose, as well as before preparing food.

Sleep

Easier said than done, we know! Basically, the more rest your baby gets, the better they will feel. Encourage a nap or two each day. When baby’s not resting in their crib, find some relaxing activities to share.

Snuggling

When your little ones are feeling under the weather, they need a little extra care. The most important thing you can do is to make time for snuggling!
